I have had the privilege of being the wedding photographer Godalming for lots of happy couples. I am asked to photograph lots of beautiful weddings in Godalming, Guildford, Woking and other towns around Surrey, and beyond.

What a beautiful day I had with this gorgeous couple. They were surrounded by their friends and family witnessing them committing their love for each other.

I took some pictures of the guests arriving, of the ceremony itself, and some group pictures afterwards. Their little girl was so cute!

They were going on to have lunch at a local hotel, but they didn’t want any further photographs. I tend to appeal to couples who are looking for a photographer for 2 to 4 hours only.

Each session is designed around your needs. So you can choose what’s important for me to capture.

Although I am best known as a family and headshot photographer, I also do commercial, engagement and (small) wedding photography. It was such a treat for me to do this Surrey engagement photoshoot last autumn to celebrate the promise between this beautiful couple. The voucher was bought by the lady’s parents last Christmas. It was such a treat to plan with them such an intimate session capturing their love for one another. We took the pictures in a local Surrey gardens which were still looking beautiful with abundant summer blooms. It was fun to have a clothes change towards the end to mix up the feeling of the pictures. Some of the headshot’s will be used by the couple for their professional work as opera singers.

Engagement Photographer Surrey

If you’re looking for an engagement photoshoot in Guildford you might find it useful to see this fabulous example of a gorgeous photoshoot for this newly engaged couple. Love was certainly in the air as we took a romantic stroll through the gardens of Guildford Castle followed by a walk along the River Wey. They are getting married next year so are in the initial planning stages, but with the venue already booked they are well on their way to having the happiest day of their lives. This engagement photoshoot will provide them with a great selection of pictures for their ‘save the date’ cards and also their wedding website.

I know the castle and river area well as I have undertaken quite a few photoshoots at these sites and also live close by so have enjoyed time here with my family. I particularly love the river as we love cycling along the tow path on a sunday morning. It’s pretty quiet apart from the occasional jogger, fellow cyclists and walkers. There is always something to watch on the river from passing ducks and swimmers, to paddle boarders and boats. We hired a canal boat last summer with another family from Farncombe Boat House and sailed it all the way through to the other side of Guildford carefully navigating the locks along our journey. It’s a great day out for children and adults!

It was such a pleasure chatting to this gorgeous couple from Surrey when they approached me to take some family pictures and then capture their wedding shortly after! The ceremony at Barnett Hill Hotel was very intimate so everyone was relaxed. It felt so special to be part of their exciting day. I wish them every happiness in their future together!
