I love taking professional head shot photographs for all sorts of people throughout Surrey and Berkshire. I tend to do them in my studio garden near Guildford in Surrey because then we can look through all the shots we take straight away and edit them there and then. It’s always a pleasure to meet interesting men and women who are looking for some beautiful portraits to use in a variety of ways. I’ve had authors wanting a picture for their book jackets, actors and musicians for auditions, professionals for interviews and websites and people looking for a gorgeous picture for dating websites! It’s always fun choosing clothes and accessories together and look at the results of this gorgeous pioneering lady from Berkshire who is on the brink of setting up her own business. The bright autumn leaves were still looking fab on this children’s portrait photographer shoot in Surrey! These 2 little boys had bags of energy and were so much fun, it made for a very easy and relaxed morning! There are so many gorgeous children’s portraits including an unusual number of really great whole family portraits which bearing in mind we are taking about a 4 and 2 year old, is amazing!
As you will see from the pictures I like to move about quite a bit on shoots. It keeps it lively and interesting and adds plenty of opportunities to show the children’s personalities, so we tend to keep on the move which makes it all the more fun too! I wouldn’t change being a children’s portrait photographer for anything!
I had a lovely email from Margaret after “Thank you again. We love our photos. I can’t believe you managed to get so many decent ones, usually Sam won’t let anyone come near him with a camera to take his photo, Alex pulls funny faces and I have my eyes closed so you had a real challenge!! I am so pleased thought that you managed to capture so many great photos.” My pleasure guys!

It’s such a great job being a baby children’s photographer Surrey. I get to meet families from all over Surrey and beyond.
I was really looking forward to photographing baby Alfie and family from Guildford in Surrey. You may recognise them as it’s their fourth shoot with me. Thankfully I am documenting their growing family through the different stages of childhood. I first met the family 2 years ago when their eldest Freddie was 6 months old. This seems like a lifetime ago now! I feel like I’ve really had a chance to get to know the family over that time which is lovely. In fact I’ve passed on some of my own children’s toys to the boys. One of the toys is our big frog sandpit which apparently was a big hit over the summer!
The family seem to be doing very well with their latest gorgeous addition. In fact despite the lack of sleep Mum Josie looked remarkably bright eyed. I must find out what her secret is!! Really can’t wait to see them next April for their next session when I suspect Alfie will be sitting up!

What a lovely time I had photographing baby Oliver and family from Surrey. Oliver loved playing with the autumn leaves in the woods so it was easy to capture him with plenty of smiles! I first captured Oliver when he was just 3 months old so it was fab to catch up and see how much he had grown! It was lovely that Daddy could join this session too. I captured plenty of beautiful moments of the family enjoying precious time together.

Informed Choice is an award-winning firm of Chartered Financial Planners who have been working in Cranleigh since 1994. So they are very much considered experts in their field. Clapham, London Baby & Family Photographer
Ooh what a treat to be asked to be the family photographer for not just one but twin baby girls from Clapham, South West London. I was very excited on the drive up, and was thrilled with the way the morning went. The family are gorgeous and so much fun and the girls were as good as gold. One of them even had a little snooze in Mummy’s arms during the morning. It was lovely to have Great Grandma there too, over for a visit from Trinidad. It’s always useful to have an extra pair of hands in the early days….well in fact generally!

You might have come across this post whilst searching for a Cobham Surrey family photographer. I would be delighted to help. Hopefully this family shoot might give you a flavour of my style.
I was unsure if we’d go ahead with this family photography shoot in Cobham in Surrey due to the awful weather forecast! It looked like we might have considerable rain. But the family really wanted to go ahead as they were down from London for the day visiting their parents. So I arrived with my waterproofs on and we watched the rain falling for about 10 minutes before we ventured outside!
Amazingly we then only had a bit of light drizzle which as you may well know never gets in the way of a little boys fun! We fed the ducks in the lake at the bottom of the garden, and then played about having a lovely time. At the end of the shoot Robin spied the bird bath and was pretty pleased that no one stopped him getting totally soaked. In fact we encouraged him!! Oh the joy to see the world through 18 month old eyes!

It was fun catching up again with this family for their children’s portrait photography Surrey session. The shoot took place near their home near Croydon in Surrey over the summer. The children had grown up so much in a year since our last portrait photography session. It was lovely this time to include their cousins too! I always say the more the merrier as it’s great to bring cousins, grandparents and other family members into the sessions. During this photography session we allowed plenty of family time to capture some special memories! Aren’t the flowers looking glorious? I can almost smell the roses just looking at these pictures! The colours were so bright and vibrant.
It rather inspired me to tend to my own garden! We have some friends coming over on the weekend so I think I better do some weeding and tidying as the forecast looks great so we might have a bbq! I have a new recipe for some spicy chicken and lemon prawns so with this likely to be the last opportunity to be outside. I had better get shopping and cooking!
