I was very excited to meet up again to photograph 9 month old Stephanie and her parents from Guildford in Surrey. I first photographed the family a month before Staphanie’s arrival, then as a newborn, so it was very exciting to see how much she had grown – and what a cutie! Her Mum said “Its been wonderful to have Nicola capture our special moments with Stephanie, she’s captured Stephanie’s likeness so well! We’ll treasure these photos for years to come!”. It’s been my privilege guys and I have really enjoyed getting to know you! Hope to see you again soon. x

Leatherhead Surrey Children and Family Photographer
Being a family photographer is the BEST job in the world! I get to meet so many lovely families throughout Surrey, Sussex, Berkshire and South London, and plan lots of fun adventures for their little ones! I headed to Ashted Common near Leatherhead in Surrey for this family photoshoot, which provided us with plenty of space to run around and interesting places to explore and discover!
The parents said after their viewing: “It really was great going through all the pictures this week, it’s really really amazing the number of great shots you have managed to get and we are really happy with what we have chosen. We are now looking forward to seeing them in a few weeks time in print. We will certainly recommend you to anyone considering family portraits in the future.”
After their frames arrived they commented, “The pictures arrived yesterday and we opened them last night, just fantastic, we are looking forward to shuffling the pictures on the wall and enjoying them for many years, thanks again for everything.”

Family Photographer Cranleigh Surrey
I really had so much fun being the photographer for this fun Cranleigh, (Surrey) based family of four. I had such a great time photographing Gareth’s brother Lawrence and family a couple of months before, that I knew I was going to have a lot of fun. I was not disappointed! The family are so nice, I didn’t feel like it was work at all! Their children, as you can see, are just so gorgeous and sweet, so the couple of hours flew by and before long we all deserved an ice cream!
Mum, Sarah said after: “I’m completely over the moon – they have bought a tear to my eye and made me really emotional! I know we will treasure them forever, they really have captured that special moment in time. I’m so happy that you managed to achieve that ‘work of art’ for our new home. I love the images that we chose as pictures in their own right, it just makes it extra special that they feature our children! Thank you so much again. I really hope that we will be able to see you again some time in the future.”

Nikkie from Dorking in Surrey approached me recently to discuss a family photography shoot. She wanted to capture herself with her three sisters and parents for a family photography shoot. I was very excited! I think it is clear from the pictures what a great morning we had. They are clearly a very close family unit, who enjoy spending time together. So there was plenty of laughter and fun. We went to somewhere that was special to the family. They remembered a photo of the 4 daughters on a gate there when they were children. We had fun reenacting the same poses.

I always look forward to taking some professional portraits for this fun family from Guildford in Surrey! I first met the family 3 years ago when I captured Freddie at 6 months. It was lovely to capture Freddie again at a year, then 18 months. Then along came Alfie to complete their family, and now this is their second shoot as a family of 4! It’s always so lovely to meet up. I love seeing how much the boys have grown and hearing what they’ve been up to! As always, we had great fun!

It was so fun being the Woking Family photographer for this lovely family from Surrey. We did the photo shoot in the garden so it was very relaxing for everyone. They enjoyed showing me their favourite trees to climb and secret passages! When choosing a location you may wish to consider a few things. Firstly maybe shoot at home if you have a nice garden with shade? Otherwise secondly, perhaps there is somewhere you like walking or visiting as a family? Have a chat with your children, if you are old enough, about where they like to go. There are so many child friendly places in Surrey. Make a day of it with a picnic after. Children love an ice cream after too! Mind you, so do I! A raspberry ripple or mint choice chip gets my vote!

Well my job as photographer for this gorgeous family from Guildford in Surrey, was very easy! The family are very close, and it was clear to see the loving relationship between the parents and children. They have a great sense of fun which I think shines through in their pictures. Their energy seemed endless, with running races, gymnastics, rolling down the hill and even at the playground towards the end for a bit of climbing and den building! All in all a perfect morning!
I hear they slept well that night…. 😉

What a lovely photography shoot I had with this gorgeous family from Guildford in Surrey. Their son was so cute and smiley, my job was easy! The portraits speak for themselves – you can tell the family have a great sense of fun and we literally laughed our way through 90 minutes!
The session was bought as a Christmas voucher by Laurence’s parents, so it was extra special. I am photographing Laurence’s brother and family in a couple of months so it’ll be a treat to capture the whole family!
I had a lovely email from the family after their viewing session.
