Family Photography
I had a feeling I was going to have a lot of fun on the family photography shoot for Kiki and family. As you can see I was not disappointed! They asked me as a Family Photographer Farnham to capture their family at home. Kiki’s daughters had bought the voucher for her and husband Franco to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary! What an amazing milestone. They’ve obviously had many happy years together and their two beautiful daughters. Which are a testament to their loving family unit. I spent a couple of hours with the family in their garden, having fun and meeting their very sweet cat!
At the viewing session Kiki said that she was a bit anxious before the session as she’d never done anything like this before. But I was thrilled that she said I made it ‘delightful’ and a ‘very enjoyable relaxed experience’!
My pleasure, I am glad you liked it and I can’t wait to hand over your canvases! I am sure you will enjoy your portraits for years to come. Congratulations on your very special wedding anniversary!

If you’re a regular reader of my family photography blog you might notice that so many of my recent shoots have been returning Clients which is so lovely as I become really attached to my families and I love catching up with them and seeing the children grow! I last photographed this gorgeous pair of twins from Clapham, South London, last
October in their 3 month photography shoot, so now at 9 months it’s lovely to see their individual personalities coming through. We had a really lovely time and I hope to see them again soon!

One of the best bits of being a children’s portrait photographer is observing and documenting a family growing together. It’s been a privilege to watch little Jamie grow since his
baby session to his
9 month session to now at 18 months! He is very happy and playful so we really enjoyed our walk around the gardens. Check out those first few steps below!

I loved catching up with baby Edward and family for our portrait photography session in Surrey last month! It had been 9 months since his Surrey newborn baby shoot and wow how he has grown! He was so cute and smiley even though it was a bit chilly that morning! It was great to catch up, and capture Edward as an (almost!) toddler. His personality really shines though and we had so much fun. It was lovely to see teddy again too – you may remember him from his newborn shoot!
I had a lovely email from the parents after. “Your creative eye and expertise has given us pictures of the three of us that we will treasure forever and make perfect additions to the newborn shoot we did 9 months ago. Thank you.”

Looking for a Maternity Photographer Guildford Surrey?
I love being a maternity photographer Guildford Surrey. It’s always exciting meeting a new family ready for their maternity, baby or family photography shoot! I have Clients all over Surrey and the surrounding counties, with children of all ages. Some Clients like to book individual sessions, and some book onto my year long baby photography package. On this photography journey I record their experience through an important stage of their lives! As you can see, this is a very exciting time for Mum Liezel and family! This is the first of three shoots they will have over the next twelve to eighteen months. It was great fun getting to know the family and hearing about their plans for the arrival of their second child!

This lovely family had been looking for a portrait photographer in Guildford for a few months. So they were very pleased when I was recommend by their friend. Through our mutual friend I had heard lots of great things about the family. But I hadn’t realised until the Dad got out of the car that we were at University in Bristol together at the same time. So we had some fun reminiscing back to those days, many moons ago!
This family portrait photographer shoot was my last of 2014! How the year has flown by with so many baby photoshoots, headshots and family photography sessions! For this session, we went to the woods. Winterfold Woods are close to where the family live now and near where Anna grew up in local village, Ewhurst near Guildford in Surrey.
The colours still looked gorgeous and the kids were such fun we had a lovely time. I love the colours of the brown ferns.
Anna sent me a lovely note after, “You did the most amazing job capturing my family and I can’t thank you enough for that. You have an incredible talent that I will certainly tell others about.” Thanks Anna, I really enjoyed our time together and hope to see you again soon. x

Baby and Family Photographer Godalming Surrey
I was very excited to meet up to photograph a gorgeous family from Godalming in Surrey. I am very fond of these guys, it’s my third shoot with them as they are coming to the end of my ‘baby package’ which involves 3 shoots in a 12-18 month period. So I first met Cordelia for a 6 month shoot in September 2013, then at 1 year in March 2014 then again at 18 months in November! Cordelia is the most delightful little girl, she couldn’t be any sweeter if she tried! She is always so full of smiles and fun and it’s been a real treat to be able to capture her journey through the early years!
I had a lovely email from Mum afterwards…

I love taking professional head shot photographs for all sorts of people throughout Surrey and Berkshire. I tend to do them in my studio garden near Guildford in Surrey because then we can look through all the shots we take straight away and edit them there and then. It’s always a pleasure to meet interesting men and women who are looking for some beautiful portraits to use in a variety of ways. The bright autumn leaves were still looking fab on this children’s portrait photographer shoot in Surrey! These 2 little boys had bags of energy and were so much fun, it made for a very easy and relaxed morning! There are so many gorgeous children’s portraits including an unusual number of really great whole family portraits which bearing in mind we are taking about a 4 and 2 year old, is amazing!
As you will see from the pictures I like to move about quite a bit on shoots. It keeps it lively and interesting and adds plenty of opportunities to show the children’s personalities, so we tend to keep on the move which makes it all the more fun too! I wouldn’t change being a children’s portrait photographer for anything!
I had a lovely email from Margaret after “Thank you again. We love our photos. I can’t believe you managed to get so many decent ones, usually Sam won’t let anyone come near him with a camera to take his photo, Alex pulls funny faces and I have my eyes closed so you had a real challenge!! I am so pleased thought that you managed to capture so many great photos.” My pleasure guys!
