Surrey Children's Photographer | Award Winning Nicola Light

Patience is key if you’re a Surrey children’s photographer, and luckily I have bucket loads! Parents often worry about how their children will behave on the shoot. Particularly if they’ve not met me before, are shy or just quite young! But I always say to parents, please don’t worry as it’s a very relaxed shoot. We take the direction from the children, see what they are comfortable wit. Where they’d like to go and see how the shoot develops! I have a bag full of puppets, games, bubbles and a few smarties. So there’s always something to amuse the children with, so we have fun and can capture some relaxed natural emotions.

This family shoot was great fun. The kids were in charge so we followed them around the gardens as they discovered lots of different flowers and met some friendly ducks! The session was bought as a gift for the family so it was a lovely surprise for them and a great opportunity to capture their beautiful family at this exciting time.
