I always enjoy documenting children as they are grow up. It was about 5 years since I last saw the family so they had changed quite a bit!

Starting at Home with the Dogs

We began in the family’s garden, where the children played with their dogs. These first moments at home help everyone feel relaxed in front of the camera. Cuddles, giggles and playful chaos with pets create the perfect start to any family photography session.

After warming up at home, we moved to a nearby woodland. The kids raced along paths, laughed, and joked while Mum and Dad joined in the fun. The woodland’s soft light and natural surroundings provide an ideal backdrop for a photography session. You are welcome to choose the location of your shoot, or I can make suggestions.

Ending with a Family Bike Ride

One of the highlights of the session was the family bike ride at the end. Everyone together, laughing and enjoying the outdoors. Moments like this are exactly why relaxed, natural sessions work so well for family photography.
