I was especially looking forward to this shoot because I had photographed the gorgeous Mum Isabel previously. We had created professional headshots for her social media and podcast ‘NEW CHAPTERS‘ (it’s a great listen!). Therefore, it was a pleasure to return and meet the rest of her family.

The session took place on a beautiful summer afternoon. As the sun began to lower, we enjoyed the most gorgeous golden light. Combined with the family’s stunning garden, it created the perfect backdrop for their portraits.

From the moment I arrived, the children were delightful. They were full of energy, confidence and fun. As a result, capturing natural expressions felt effortless.

Rather than asking everyone to pose constantly, I encouraged the family to relax and enjoy spending time together. Consequently, the photographs feel authentic and full of personality.

We captured a lovely variety of images throughout the session. Some featured the whole family together. Others focused on individual relationships and special moments between parents and children and of course the cat!

The beautiful garden offered plenty of opportunities for different backgrounds and compositions. Meanwhile, the warm evening light added a soft and flattering finish to the photographs.
