We were so lucky that we didn’t have a drop of rain for the hour and a half that I was with them. I always make a decision with you if the forecast looks mixed. We keep in regular contact for the 24 hours before the shoot to see what we think. Sometimes the rain can bypass at the last minute! We definitely don’t want to shoot in the rain, although the odd light shower is okay.
I can easily spot nice areas in the garden to shoot in. I like to use the combination of flowers, trees and grass to get a mixture of angles. It was fun incorporating the climbing frame to show them enjoying having time in the garden.
All the children are very accomplish saxophone players. It was important for them to capture them playing. We quite liked the black-and-white version as it looked so timeless and classic. Whatever you are in to, I’m happy to incorporate this into the shoot so you can remember this in years to come.
