It is more and more common these days to have professional pictures taken for a dating website. I am a dating profile photographer Guildford.

Most people who have photos taken with me have never had a professional shoot before. Be rest assured you are in safe and gentle hands. I will guide you through the process which results in some stunning photos of you whilst also having lots of fun!

We will start by having conversations preparing for the session. This will include topics like what to wear, what to bring with you. Also your make up for ladies and hairstyling. I can arrange for a makeup artist and hairstylist to come to the studio if you would like to include this stage in your preparation. You also might like to bring some items for some natural staging. So, for example, if you really love flower arranging, or books, we can include these in one of your pictures to naturally show your interests.

The session will last a couple of hours. I will take lots of pictures of you in different outfits during the first hour. Then we will load all the pictures up on to the big screen and I can help you choose a set of pictures that you will be excited to show off!

First impressions are so important. Showing yourself in the best light possible shows your commitment to finding your perfect life partner.

I really enjoyed this recent session with this beautiful lady. It was a very relaxed morning and she was thrilled with the results. I’m sure she will be inundated with messages!

Hello! Spotlight Actor Headshots Guildford.

I’m very experienced in taking spotlight actor headshots Guildford for adult and child actors. I undertake these sessions using natural light, in the outdoor space around the studio. There are some really nice natural backdrops that work well for the style of shot. These make for a much more modern look than a white background studio style.

Before your session I will guide you through what to bring with you. Of course, this includes what to wear! So I can make some suggestions so that we have versatile wardrobe choices.

Most people arriving for head shots and nervous, which is totally understandable. I would be too! But be rest assured that I will guide you through the whole process. It’s quite often your first shoot, so I will make it very easy and enjoyable too! Be rest assured you will love the results too!

The actual session will last about two hours. Around one hour of this is shooting time. I gently direct you through a range of expressions to show your versatility. You will change outfits as we work through different looks. As we go along I will show you the back of the camera so that you get to see the results of the pictures as we go. This ensures we are on track with the results we want to achieve.

After we have taken enough pictures. We load them up onto the big screen in the studio and we go through them together to select your favourites. I then edit them in front of you to ensure you are happy with the final finish.

Surrey based writer Elizabeth Noble, Sunday Times bestseller approached me to get some updated author headshots.

Elizabeth Noble is the author of several previous bestsellers. The Reading Group, which reached Number One. The Friendship Test (formerly published as The Tenko Club). Others include Alphabet Weekends, Things I Want My Daughters to Know, and The Girl Next Door.  Her last two books were also Richard & Judy Book Club selections.

So I was very excited to photograph such a well respected author. Sometimes authors just want a headshot for their book jacket. But on this occasion it was more than just an author headshot, it was to include some personal branding too.  I travelled to her Surrey home to show an insight in to who she is, where she writes and what she is like behind the books!

As with all my personal branding sessions there is much planning that goes on behind the scenes before the day. This includes what key aspects of your life you want to include, what props will be useful. Plus the all important what to wear! The latter sometimes causes much stress in the run up. But it really doesn’t have to be a challenge. Have lots of options handy so we can have swift changes. Choose your favourite clothes that you feel good in. Get a friend over to help you choose if you find this easier. Avoid distracting logos and big patterns. I can arrange for a hair or make up artist to come on the day too if you wish.

I had such a fun session with this lady creating a beautiful set of eyes catching pictures that really showed her true personality.  Before the session we talked about what wear. During the shoot I opted for soft, diffused light for a flattering effect and used a variety of locations to mix it up a bit. Can I help you in your search for an online dating profile photographer Surrey? Whether you’ve recently dipped your toe in the water. Or been online dating for a while, it’s worth reassessing how your profile appears to others. What you say about yourself, and more importantly the pictures totally influence that first impression!

If you want to make a genuine connection with someone, it’s worth investing in a beautiful set of pictures that show you at your best. I’m not talking about photoshopping you for hours (although I don’t mind a few tweaks!) but just making you look like the very best version of yourself!
