I was so pleased to hear from James and Debbie. They wanted to book a maternity photography session in Guildford with me in early August. They chose Newlands Corner just outside Guildford. It is a special place that they enjoy taking their much loved dogs for weekend walkies! With such magnificent views we were spoilt for choice for backdrops for the maternity photography session. The dogs clearly enjoyed the fresh air! The lovely couple wanted to capture this special time as they eagerly await the arrival of their precious baby. I am thrilled to say they are booked in for their newborn pictures so watch this space for an update soon!

Next Steps
I take maternity photography sessions when you reach about 35 weeks. You’ve got an impressive bump and still feel reasonably comfortable. We don’t have to move about too much on the sessions, it’s up to you really. These guys were great walkers and fit! But we can have lots of rests too!

How cute is this little chap?! He really did so well for his Reigate family photographer shoot at his home in Surrey. His doting parents were so sweet with him and their sense of fun was clearly appreciated by him! At just under one his personality shines through in these precious portraits. I am sure that will bring so much pleasure to look back at these early days when he’s as tall as Daddy! We moved around their garden, including taking one in front of the house and by the front gate. It would be really fun to recreate these every year!
We take pictures on our front door step every September. We all hold hands and see how much the children have grown in twelve months. When we have about 20 I will make them into a big collage. I suspect I will be the shortest when we get to that stage! The children seem to grow too quickly. Blink and there are another few centimetres added to their heights! My son in particular seems to be eating a lot more. I don’t think it’ll be long before we are no longer getting the children’s meal at Pizza Express!
What to bring
It’s fun to bring along some favourite toys like books. Alternatively maybe some building blocks or teddy to your family photography shoot. It’s so special to remember what they liked to play with at that age as you forget so quickly! I still haven’t thrown away my children’s toys. Each time I look at the them, they bring back a memory. I will put them up in the loft for our grandchildren (hopefully!) one day.

Are you looking for a baby photographer in Horsham?
This gorgeous 1 month old baby from Horsham in West Sussex was such a treat to be the photographer for last week. He was ever so good although a little reluctant to fall asleep on his own! So we used every trick in the book to make sure he was happy and settled. It brought back so many memories of trying to settle my own babies. I can remember after what seemed like hours of rocking until they feel asleep, I’d carefully lay them down and tip toe out (holding my breath) only to find within minutes of leaving the room, they would wake again and start crying (usually just as I myself got into bed!). I don’t mind admitting I rather enjoy my undisturbed nights these days! Although even at 6 and 8 my children do sneak down the corridor now and then for a reassuring cuddle, which mostly I don’t mind at all!

This little baby girl from Horsham in West Sussex was so perfect in every way. It was so special to be her Horsham baby photographer for this delightful expanding family. The bond between this beautiful newborn baby and her parents was clearly so strong already! I love all the detail shots, it’s so special to record these otherwise it’s so easy to forget how tiny they once were! I don’t think I’ve ever seen so much fabulous hair on a baby! My first child had very little hair for about a year. So I always find it amazing that babies can all be so different!
This little one was such a poppet throughout her baby photography session, as good as gold. Let’s hope she continues to be as good over the next few months!!! I can remember being so tired during those first few months. Thank heavens they do start to let you get a bit more sleep after a while!

It was such a treat to welcome back this lovely family. It was an honour to be their baby photographer Guildford Surrey to photograph their second child. This time a gorgeous bouncing baby boy! I first met them a couple of years ago when we did a maternity photography shoot in Guildford. This was before the arrival of their beautiful baby girl. Subsequently we did a newborn baby photography shoot for her. We’ve since done two other family photography shoots around Guildford documenting her journey into toddlerhood! This session was focusing just on their new arrival. Of course I am looking forward to photographing them as a family of four in the future.
It is so lovely documenting a family’s journey. Especially through those early days. You forget how small they once were. It’s a whirlwind of sleepless nights and desperately trying to navigate your way through the early weeks.

My baby photography package in Guildford Surrey are always popular and it’s easy to see why! The baby photography package consists of three baby photography shoots. These are over 12-18 months which gives you a real sense of a child growing. From tiny baby to crawler to toddler! It’s the most amazing and fast paced time of a child’s life! I loved meeting this family for their newborn shoot back in the Summer of 2015, then again for a 9 month shoot in the Spring of this year. Now at 18 months Ava is a toddler!
The time flies by so it’s incredibly special to have these unique stages recorded. I loved spending time with this delightful family. I do hope they invite me to capture the children when they are a bit older. Throughout the year I do lots of baby photography packages in Guildford Surrey. In addition also surrounding towns like Woking, Godalming and Haslemere. I am happy to travel to your home or somewhere that is special to you.
