A Very Special 5th Wedding Anniversary!

The 1st of September is a very special date for my husband (Ed) and I…it’s our wedding anniversary! This year we celebrate five very happy years together, during which we’ve been blessed with our two beautiful children Alice and Harry who turn 4 and 2 this month!  According to tradition, five years of marriage is celebrated with a gift of wood (sadly nothing that sparkles yet!). So I put my thinking cap on to come up with a special gift for Ed! I knew it would probably involve our children as they are so central to our lives, so I got in touch with the lovely Alex Allen from Little Impressions to record their hands prints, which are beautifully framed in WOOD! We had a lovely time at Alex’s house creating the impressions, it was very quick and easy! I am so pleased with the stunning final frame. Their hands look so cute, and it will be precious to record how small they still were at this age.

Alex can cast children from as young as a few weeks old. She creates a three dimensional cast which preserves an image of your child’s hands or feet in perfect detail. Several formats and finishes are offered including sibling and family frames, photo and first shoe combinations. There is an example below of how my photography works so well in a photo and cast combination. Alex covers Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire and can be contacted via www.little-impressions.com or 07855 840550.

Ed and I heading up to London for the weekend to celebrate including afternoon tea at Claridges which is going to be a fab caloriefest! I’ve always wanted a ‘posh’ tea with champers and it certainly seems like a fitting way to celebrate five very happy years of marriage. I am looking forward to many more years to come with you my gorgeous Ed. Thank you for being the best husband I could ever have imagined, I love you more than ever. xxx
