I feel so lucky to be able to capture families at home or somewhere special to them. If there is nowhere that is particularly special to you, I’m happy to make some suggestions of location. This often changes throughout the year depending on the season. So for example it might be some woods in bluebell season, somewhere with some lovely rose gardens in June. I love Winkworth Arboretum in the autumn.
This lovely family decided to have their pictures taken at home in their garden. This was a great choice as there were some lovely backdrops. We also took a short walk out to a local green where there were some gorgeous long grasses.
Of course we had to include the dog and cat! It’s very important for families to include their pets. They are a very important part of family life.
The shoot takes around two hours. We take all sorts of combinations during that time. We discuss what combinations are important to you. After the shoot you come into the studio to see your pictures. Sometimes it can be quite overwhelming seeing a collection of 50 or so portraits but my clever software helps you to choose your favourites. You decide which of those you would like on your walls. You can see below I’ve made some frame examples to get the family thinking about what they could could do with their portraits. It’s always useful to include a few examples to get you thinking.
If you would like to see more information or examples of family sessions please see the family page. You may wish to look at the pricing page or some kind reviews.
I look forward to hearing from you please do get in touch.
