Guildford Family Photography

I adored this Guildford family photography session.  The family had been given a voucher for the session for Christmas last year. So it was great to talk the family through how the photography session would work and where to shoot. I also talked them through and sent them more information on how best to prepare for their session.

Of course the location was going to be their amazing farm in Godalming Surrey. Approaching the house up the sweeping driveway gave me a great feeling about the family photo shoot. There were sheep in the field to the left of me. I couldn’t help but stop for a couple of minutes to watch them munching on the grass. I was very pleased to later take a walk down to the field with the family. We got amongst the sheep who were excellent models! Their favourite is Barbara who was quite a character and enjoyed joining in.

Around the farm we went to all the places that are special to the family. It was important to include their lovely art pieces. The pig was beautifully painted by the mum! The fields were looking stunning. I love the long daisies. Naturally we had along that puppy. He was ever so cute. Quite a character and obviously centre of attention.

I had a lovely email after the session.”Thank you so much for everything. You’ve made the whole process a joy when it could have been nerve racking. Every time we look at the photos we’ll remember the fun we had and the time we had with you. Such a gift you have for creating happy memories.” Thank you my pleasure, I really enjoyed it!

If you are looking for a Guildford family photography session I would be delighted to help you. I am in full swing now with so many family sessions. Obviously I didn’t shoot in March and April or much in May. However now using social distance guidelines I am out and about and enjoying family sessions again.
