Surrey Baby Photoshoot

I was lucky enough to be invited in to photograph this newborn baby girl just 10 days after she was born. I had already met the parents a few weeks before at their maternity photography session. Follow the link to see more from that day. On the morning of the shoot their daughter was the number one focus. Although I think the dog had other ideas! We took a couple of hours capturing them relaxing at home enjoying lots of cuddles. The family were extremely relaxed and doing a great job for first time parents, long may it continue!

After viewing their pictures online the couple said. ” Lovely photos, thank you. It’s going to be hard to choose as they are all lovely.” I think it was a great session with so many beautiful moments captured.

During the first two weeks of your baby’s life, is a unique opportunity to take some wonderful sleepy shots of your newborn baby. For example curled up both on a blanket and in your arms. It’s also a great time to take some close ups of your baby’s tiny hands. In addition with their feet and the contrast of your hands against them. In years to come it’ll be hard to remember how tiny they really were! These shots are great to use for announcement cards. Most importantly generally telling your friends and family about your gorgeous new arrival!
