Maternity Photography Surrey

I really enjoyed this Surrey maternity photography session. I undertook in January this year, in Winterfold woods near Guildford. The excited couple wanted to capture this special time as they eagerly awaited the arrival of their baby girl. I remember this time fondly before both my babies. Especially my first when the excitement levels were at their peak. Probably nerves were peaking too to be honest!

We took a gentle walk around the woods regularly stopping to have a rest and a chat about their thoughts on the future. With just a few weeks to go the couple were understandably excited and nervous. I can’t believe it was 10, almost 11 years ago when I was in their shoes waiting for the arrival of my beautiful daughter. I really didn’t know what was round the corner like most new parents!

My maternity (bump) photography sessions can take place at a location of your choosing at around 35 weeks. You are welcome to bring a few props like a teddy or booties to incorporate if you wish. Or as you see below a much loved furry friend! It makes it all the more personal.

I also had the pleasure of capturing the family at home for a newborn photography session This took place about 10 days after the birth of their precious daughter.
