It was lovely to catch up with the family following the safe arrival of gorgeous baby Alfie. The newborn session was in the same location as the maternity. However this time we took the pictures inside which was more comfortable for them all.
We took plenty of detail shots to remember how tiny Alfie was at this age. It is so easy to forget how small they once were.
I had a lovely email from the family after. “Nicola did a maternity and newborn photoshoot for us & our lovely little baby Alfie. Her knowledge and skill made for some incredible photos; even though being photographed doesn’t come naturally to us! All communication was efficient and everything was very organised, all with a friendly personal touch. Thank you Nicola”
My pleasure, thank you so much for choosing me!
There is no ‘best time’ to capture your baby. You may wish to go for newborn pictures at around 10-14 days. This is when baby is still very sleepy and curled up. But bear in mind you’ll probably be just getting to know your baby, finding your feet and will probably not have had much sleep! Other popular times are around 1-2 months when you’ve settled in to a routine a bit more and caught up on a bit more sleep. You might see a few smiles too!
