I love being a professional family photographer in Guildford Surrey, I travel all over our county. Plus into Berkshire and Sussex meeting all sorts of lovely interesting families. I sometimes feel guilty calling it ‘work’ as it is such good fun and I really do enjoy all aspects of my job!

I particularly enjoyed being the family photographer in Guildford for this lovely family in the spring sunshine last month. They were such good fun. I think it’s clear to see from the photographs we all had a great time! We chose their Guildford garden for the photography shoot. This meant the children were relaxed being at home, and that the pictures will have more meaning to them as it is their own garden! There were so many lovely areas in the garden it was very easy to chose beautiful backdrops to set the scene. Aren’t the daffodils stunning! I love the variety of colours. They really did dance in the breeze. I always think how clever the daffodils are showing up just when we have had enough of the drab darkness of winter! They herald a very positive sign of warmer days to come, hoorah!
