As a Portrait Photographer Guildford Surrey, it’s always a treat and an honour to be invited back to someones home. I love getting to record the memories of families enjoying time together.

There was no exception with this family portrait photographer session in Guildford Surrey. I have been photographing the family every year for the past 5 years so it’s so lovely to see the children grow and develop. Every family photo shoot is different because every family is different. So it’s great to hear what the family want to do. Each year we think about how can we best record their evolving personalities? How can we capture their interests, like reading, dancing, gardening, riding and their pets? I feel this set of pictures really does exactly that and I am sure they will be a treasured record for years to come.

When you first approach me about a family shoot we will talk about how it all works. I would like to know more about your children, where you live and get to know you more. Maybe you would like the pictures at home or somewhere special you like going as a family? Does anyone have any special needs I need to know about? I am more than happy to incorporate your thoughts. Maybe your children operate better in the morning or late afternoon! It’s usually the morning especially with the younger ones. Although teens are on a different time scale again! Anything goes really! It’s up to you.
