Love was certainly in the air as we took a romantic stroll through the gardens of Guildford Castle followed by a walk along the River Wey. They are getting married next year so are in the initial planning stages, but with the venue already booked they are well on their way to having the happiest day of their lives. This engagement photoshoot will provide them with a great selection of pictures for their ‘save the date’ cards and also their wedding website.

I know the castle and river area well as I have undertaken quite a few photoshoots at these sites and also live close by so have enjoyed time here with my family. I particularly love the river as we love cycling along the tow path on a sunday morning. It’s pretty quiet apart from the occasional jogger, fellow cyclists and walkers. There is always something to watch on the river from passing ducks and swimmers, to paddle boarders and boats. We hired a canal boat last summer with another family from Farncombe Boat House and sailed it all the way through to the other side of Guildford carefully navigating the locks along our journey. It’s a great day out for children and adults!
