Guildford Commercial Photographer

A couple of months ago I was contacted by Clare from Phonics Books. She was looking for a Guildford commercial photographer to take some pictures of children reading her fantastic range of phonics books.

We took the first set of pictures at a school in Guildford.  I was so pleased that she was thrilled with the results and left me a lovely 5* review. A few weeks later she contacted me again as she wanted to repeat the shoot. This time in a South London location including some slightly older children. So I met her in Battersea where we took a new collection of pictures with children ranging from 5 to 11 years old.

Clare wanted the pictures to show the children enjoying the books which would help to really bring the books to life. My brief was to take some pictures of the children in their uniform for the UK site. Plus also some pictures of the children in home clothes for their US side of the business.

The books are beautifully illustrated and so well written that it was easy to take the pictures of the children enjoying reading them.  We took advantage of several locations in the school including the playground, the library and their classrooms. The children were extremely well behaved and really enjoyed their time being photographed. I’m sure that their parents and the school are very proud of them.
