What an enjoyable morning I had with Lucy from Surrey based ‘The Frame Shed’ who was looking for a commercial photographer to capture some shots for her new website. Before the session, we discussed what Lucy was looking for and how she wanted to portray her brand. These days people choose a brand because they are looking not just for a fabulous product but also some personality behind the brand. We all want to ‘meet the maker’ particularly for independent brands. So you just can’t hide behind your logo these days!

As you can see from the pictures below we undertook to tell a story to Lucy’s potential clients. We wanted to show that Lucy offers a very personal bespoke service in a relaxed yet professional environment. Lucy takes great care in chatting to her clients about exactly what they are looking for. She has so many fabulous framing solutions that can suit projects of any size. We wanted to portray that Lucy hand makes all her products in her frame shed so it was important to take some shots of her actually creating the products.

She takes such care with the attention to detail, which often a large manufacturing company just cannot do. So hopefully these pictures give a real insight into her brand. At the end of the session we took some headshots both in the context of her working environment and garden too. I think these will be really useful for her on social media and on her website.
