Maternity Photographer Surrey

I love being a maternity photographer Surrey. It takes me all over my county and to Sussex, Berkshire and South London. Meeting parents-to-be who tend to be in varying levels of excitement and intrepidation! This maternity photographer session took place in Godalming Surrey on a beautiful autumnal day. We obviously took it very easy on our walk together, with plenty of rests and lovely chats. I always say to couples enjoy these last few weeks together. It’s such a special time getting the nursery ready, last minute shopping, packing your hospital bag. Likewise reading up about the birth and hopefully getting some rest too!

Couples are often naturally nervous about the actual birth. Importantly I always try to calm some of these worries and turn the apprehension into impending excitement on finally getting to meet their baby! I had a planned Caesarian with my first child as she was breech. So I did feel a bit cheated by not being able to have a natural birth. My friends were all quite surprised when I said I was elated to be given the chance to have a labour with our second child. It genuinely was one of the best days (ummm 40 hours!) of my life! Yes of course it’s painful. Above all though it really is so amazing to see what your body is capable of and the joy of seeing your baby at the end. The hard journey really does make the pain worth while! So I always like these sessions as I hope I leave my couples excited and ready to meet their baby. Looking forward to the next amazing chapter of their lives!

This couple from Guildford in Surrey are so lovely. I know they are going to make great parents to their little girl due to arrive any day now, I can’t wait for their newborn photography session!
