If we have some spare time at the weekend we love to have a family walk and one of our favourite places is the wood at the top of our lane, which looks spectacular in the autumn. We live in the Surrey Hills so it’s a very steep lane (cyclists love it!) and the view from the top is stunning, you can see for miles around. We went up there on Sunday morning and unusually I was behind the camera for a bit too!
You may notice the conspicuous absence of Daddy in these pictures….well he’s admirably taking part in ‘Movember’ so was not too keen on having his moustache captured! I love these pictures, and kept on looking at them again on Monday, it brings me such pleasure. I particularly like the black and white picture of Harry kissing me – it really captures him perfectly at this age as he’s such an affectionate Mummy’s boy. I treasure every kiss he showers upon me as I can’t bare the thought of him growing up and not being so generous with his old Mum one day! I know the time will come but I can enjoy looking back on these portraits.
